Convergent Symbolism
The overall interpretation of “Convergent Symbolism,” as applied to my paintings, begins with my obsession with the dual existence of two realms: the physical, and the spiritual. The convergence or interaction of the two realms is where I find my inspiration for subject matter. The various motifs focus on timeless symbols that exist in both realms. Additionally, the method and approach to the pictorial process is integrated in the application of multiple layers of color, while leaving exposed areas that reductively reveal peeks into the convergence of the two realms. These paintings reflect the convergent symbolism as interpreted by my imagination.
